PHP Developers are getting younger all the time!

Say hello to our new Junior PHP Developer, Nathaniel Higgins. And no, you are not imagining things, he is only 15 years old.

Nathaniel is in Year 11 and is studying History, Performing Arts and Spanish as well as ICT. He asked us if we could offer him some work experience over the summer holidays and he has impressed us so much that we have given him a part-time job when he goes back to school at the end of August.

Nathaniel has been coding since he was 8 years old and decided to ask us for work experience so that he could further develop his skills. He says ‘I have been self taught for a long time but it’s gotten to the point where I want to start learning from other people and Snapshot Media provide the perfect opportunity for that. It helps that all the people here are amazing with great senses of humour – I really love being here and I’m so happy that they’ve offered me a job.’

Nathaniel has been developing his own computer projects and has his own website showcasing his work, as well as a blogging enterprise with his school friends called Blogcase. As well as his interest in development, he is also a keen actor and singer – watch out Justin Timberlake!
