Parallax Deliver New Website for Football Mundial

football mundial

Last week we had another exciting week full of fantastic website launches for us and this time it’s 5 and 6-a-side football company Football Mundial’s turn.

With over 40,000 players all around the UK, Football Mundial are one of the biggest 5 and 6-a-side football league hosts in the country and they asked us to rebrand and redesign their website to reflect their growing number of leagues and venues and the needs of their players.

Rebrand

We created some sleek visuals that demonstrate the modern, sporty ethos behind Football Mundial. We designed a new logo and colour palette for their website that could also be easily replicated on banners and merchandise, with a focus on the classic green representing the turf that their customers play on.

Our director, Lawrence, even shot the website images at their York College venue, focussing mainly on action shots of the players to show the energetic nature of the business and give new customers a real sense of what Football Mundial is all about.

Website

We wanted to make sure that the website was as useful as possible for players and new recruits. The brand new website allows users to search for their nearest league, sign up their team online, browse kit and other merchandise available as well as share information from the site with their friends using Facebook and Twitter functionality. It also displays all fixture and league results which the team at Football Mundial can input easily through their bespoke back end system.

Danny Le Page, one of our developers, describes how he thinks the new website is going to make the Football Mundial experience more awesome for its players: ‘When you’re on the website and find your team’s page you can set it as your favourite. With one click every time you visit the site it remembers you! It’s a great little feature that works using cookies and means that every time you go to the site there’s a link at the top to the user’s team, venue and league page.’

As always, we’d love to get your feedback on the new site. Tell us what you think on Facebook, Twitter or in the comments below.
