Parallax Launches New Website for VTR North

We’re very excited to announce the launch of a brand new website for Northern post production house VTR North.

VTR North are a post production and visual effects company with facilities in Leeds and Manchester. Their impressive Leeds facility is right underneath our own office in The Old Brewery! They’ve done work for clients such as BBC, Carling and Jet2 and have worked on the well known TV adverts for DFS.

They asked us to redesign and modernise their website and we’ve built a range of great features to help them improve their service to their clients. James Hall, one of our directors, explains his favourite part of the project: ‘All of the project footage and clips on their new website play in HTML5 which means users can view all of their great work on any device. Using Expose CMS the guys at VTR North can easily upload their work in any format and it’ll encode the video straight on there.

‘We’ve also built an HTML5-enabled video sharing platform which allows VTR North to easily send large video files. They can send the files to their clients and they’ll be able to review them on multiple devices: iPhone, Android, PC, Mac. They upload at great pace and are backed up in the cloud. The client can comment on the file and then revisions can be uploaded – it’s a great tool that we’re sure VTR North and their clients are going to get a lot of use from.’
