Parallax sponsor charity ball for Sepsis Trust

We’re really proud to announce that we are one of the sponsors of the Hilary Lovell Memorial Ball with proceeds going directly to The UK Sepsis Trust.

The ball will take place on Saturday 2 March 2013 at Harrogate’s Old Swan Hotel and our director Lawrence Dudley is the official photographer.

Sepsis is an infection which takes the lives of over 37,000 people in the UK every year – that’s more than the number claimed by lung, breast and bowel cancer combined. All proceeds from the ball will go to The UK Sepsis Trust, who help fund research and treatment of Sepsis as well as education projects for healthcare services and the public.

Hilary Lovell died aged 64 on Christmas day in 2010. The ball is response by her family and friends to create something fun and happy in her memory, as well as raise funds and awareness for the treatment of Sepsis. The ball will include a champagne reception, three course meal and live jazz music.

Lawrence is really pleased to be supporting Hilary’s family and friends and is looking forward to taking the official images: ‘Hilary was an amazing woman and though it’s really sad that her family have lost her, they are doing a fantastic thing for the UK Sepsis Trust. When we were asked if we could help we jumped at the chance! Snapshot Media love a party and this is for a great cause – we can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and having a fantastic time while raising funds at the same time.’
